Mike Ferguson, Intelligent Business Strategies

Mike Ferguson is Managing Director of Intelligent Business Strategies Limited. As an analyst and consultant he specialises in BI/Analytics, Big Data and Data Management. With over 32 years of IT experience, Mike has consulted for dozens of companies on BI, technology selection, Big Data, enterprise architecture, and data management. He has spoken at events all over the world and written numerous articles. Mike provides articles, blogs and his insights on the industry. Formerly he was a principal and co-founder of Codd and Date Europe Limited - the inventors of the Relational Model, a Chief Architect at Teradata on the Teradata DBMS and European Managing Director of Database Associates. He teaches popular master classes in BI, Big Data Analytics, Data Governance & Master Data Management

Rob McNeill , Datawatch

Rob McNeill is head of marketing (EMEA) for Datawatch.  Rob is a change and improvement agent and has held a number of leadership marketing roles in management information, analytics and business process solution companies.  Rob is passionate about analytics and its role in change management and corporate culture.

Charles Radclyffe, BIPB

Charles Radclyffe is CEO at BIPB, the Big Data and Analytics consulting firm. A prominent figure in London's FinTech community, Charles is a career technologist and performs an advisory role for clients on all aspects of Big Data and Analytics strategy from roadmap design through to technology selection and solution architecture.

Dr Christoforos Anagnostopoulos

Christoforos holds a BA in Mathematics from Cambridge University and a PhD in Mathematics from Imperial College, specializing in intelligent streaming data analysis. He is a Lecturer in Statistics at the Department of Mathematics in Imperial College, where he teaches advanced statistics. His research is in computational statistics with particular focus on streaming datasets. Christoforos is the co-Founder and the Chief Science Officer of Mentat Innovations.

Michael Cutler, TUMRA

Michael pioneered the use of Big Data at BSkyB since 2008 and was a guest speaker at Hadoop World 2011 (New York) where he presented one of the first talks on machine learning at scale. Co-founding TUMRA in 2012 he has applied Apache Spark, Cassandra and machine learning algorithms to build real-time personalisation and recommendation solutions delivering increases of £1,000,000+ in revenue for leading ecommerce businesses.

Radek Maciaszek, DataMine Lab

Before he created DataMine Lab, Radek worked for many advertising companies, including OpenX, Ad4game and Orange. Currently he is contracting as a data scientist at MCM, a hedge fund, where he analyzes large financial datasets and creates analytic and predictive data solutions. He has a BSc in Computer Science and a Master's degree in Cognitive and Decisions Sciences as well as MSc in Bioinformatics from Birkbeck, University of London. Radek believes that in order to understand data, you need to be able to see what it looks like.

Antonio Romero Marin, CERN

Antonio Romero joined CERN in 2011 to work for the CERN Controls Group, providing solutions for the configuration needs of the Accelerator Controls Systems using database and java technologies. Currently Antonio works for the IT-DB group within the CERN openlab framework for the Data Anaytics Project to support the research and development activities with data analytics. He is involved in multiple areas such as setting up the infrastructure for the project and the use of data analytics for the improvement of the operation and exploitation of the CERN Accelerator Complex.
