Dai Davis is a solicitor and has been a specialist Technology Lawyer for over 25 years. He is a qualified Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology. Dai has consistently been recommended during the past two decades in the Legal 500 and in Chambers Guides to the Legal Profession. Having been national head of Intellectual Property Law and later national head of Information Technology law at Eversheds for a number of years, Dai is now a partner in his own law practice, Percy Crow Davis & Co. Dai specialises in intellectual property, computer and technology law subjects including such topical matters as Open Source, IT Security and Cloud Computing issues. He is primarily a non-contentious lawyer, specialising in advising on commercial agreements relating to software and technology products, including outsourcing agreements and web-related contracts. He also has considerable experience advising on licensing and on litigation tactics in the field of intellectual property.

Matt Hamilton, Technical Director, Netsight Internet Solutions

Matt Hamilton is the Technical Director of Netsight Internet Solutions, a UK firm specialising in developing intranets and portals on top of Plone -- an Open Source Content Management System. He has worked as a consultant for several large projects including Royal Bank of Scotland, NHS, Oxfam GB, Belron International, and University of Bristol. His particular specialism is in perform-ance optimisation and authentication for large and complex sites. He was a founding director of the Plone Foundation, and regularly speaks at Plone developer conferences and events.

Charlie Hull, Managing Director, Flax

Charlie Hull runs Flax, specialists in all aspects of search technology based in Cam-bridge, U.K. Flax have been developing powerful search applications based on open source software for clients including The Financial Times, Reed Specialist Recruitment and the Cabinet Office since 2001. Charlie also runs the Cambridge Search Meetup and regularly talks and writes on search-related subjects.

Aingaran Pillai, Founder and CEO, Zaizi

Aingaran Pillai is the founder and CEO of Zaizi – a global consultancy that assembles open source cloud solutions. Founded in 2007, Zaizi has grown from a start up to a global consultancy with offices in UK, Spain, Sri Lanka and Singapore. Zaizi’s focus is Government and Financial Services. He is also one of the co-founders of RedLink. An innovative seman-tic search platform - build on open source technology - deliver-ing next generation Web 3.0 search. He has been working with open source within since 2000 and has actively promoted the use of open source within the enterprise at international conferences. He has spoken at international government IT events in Libya, Greece and Bharain. He also hosts the an-nual Open Gov Summit in UK organised by Zaizi.

Stephen Nelson –Smith, Atalanta Systems

One of the founding members of the emerging worldwide DevOps movement, and inter-national speaker, coach, mentor and consultant on cloud automation solutions, Stephen is recognized as a thought leader in web operations. A published O'Reilly author, his book "Test-driven Infrastructure with Chef" paved the way for a revolution in the way in which the nascent infrastructure as code movement approached the business of configuration management, enabling safe, seamless migrations between multiple clouds. As founder, and principal consultant of Atalanta Systems, a thriving professional services company specializing in agile infrastructure, Stephen has accelerated change and improvements for companies from Silicon Roundabout start-ups to household names such as Nokia and Sony.

Hugo Trippaers, Mission Critical Engineer, Schuberg Philis

Hugo Trippaers started his career as a Unix engineer at a regional ISP, Knoware Internet BV. Hugo gained expertise in architecture, network and system design, finally becoming a Solution Engineer. In 2006 Hugo switched to a management job at Easynet and joined Schuberg Philis a year later switching back to an engineering role. He currently works as a Mission Critical Engineer for Schuberg Philis where his main responsibilities are soft-ware development, open source relations and cloud operations. He is currently a member of the project management committee for the Apache CloudStack project.
