Neil Cochlin MAPM has over 23 years’ experience as a police officer with an operational/BAU background of major crime such as child abuse, rape and homicide. He is also highly experienced within the PPM field having acquired qualifications in project, programme, change and risk management (e.g. APMP, PRINCE2, MSP and MoR).
As Project Manager for the Digital Interviewing Project he led a team that made the interviewing facilities for victims, witnesses and suspects fit-for-purpose in the 21st century. Having won the APM Project of the Year 2016, Neil was asked to become a Programme Director within the organisation’s change portfolio which, through approximately 80 projects and 12 programmes, seeks to transform the Met. Neil is firm believer in a tailored and sensible approach to methodologies whilst retaining a firm focus on the end benefits.
