Dominic is the Chief Data Scientist for INRIX, a Seattle-based company specialising in improving urban mobility. He was educated at Cambridge back before maths was considered cool and has 20 years’ experience working with information technologies.
He is an expert in building algorithms to transform data from its raw, ugly form into beautiful products that dance and sing and fly, and in leading businesses to the glorious world of data-driven decision making. He currently builds machine learning and artificial intelligence models to explain, analyse and predict all kinds of movement data, from congestion detection to parking probability.
He regularly presents to audiences on interesting problems in algorithm development, machine learning and big data problem formulation.
